Information we collect

From playing: none. Copenhagen Runway does not require an account and does not collect names, email addresses, locations, device identifiers, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or any other personal information while you play.

From a web purchase: the purchase details described under “Buying the full game on the web” below.

Data stored on your device

The app may save game progress and preferences locally on your device so that your experience can continue between sessions. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to Dialog Consulting.

Buying the full game on the web

The first six days of Copenhagen Runway are free. In the web version, the rest of the game can be unlocked with a single one-time payment. This is the only situation in which personal data reaches Dialog Consulting.

Payment is processed by Stripe

Payments are taken by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. on Stripe’s own checkout page. Stripe collects what it needs to process the payment - your email address, your card or wallet details, and your billing country - under the Stripe Privacy Policy. Your card number is never sent to or stored by Dialog Consulting.

What we receive, and why

From Stripe we receive the email address you entered, the amount, currency, date, and status of the payment, your billing country, and an unlock code generated for your purchase. We use this to deliver the unlock, to restore it when you ask us to, to handle refunds and payment disputes, and to keep the accounting records that Danish bookkeeping law requires. The legal bases are the performance of our contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). We do not use purchase data for marketing or profiling, and we do not share it with anyone other than Stripe and our accountant.

Data stored in your browser

After a purchase, the game keeps a signed unlock token and your unlock code in your browser’s local storage so the game stays unlocked on that device. This stays in your browser and is not sent anywhere except back to the game’s own server to confirm the unlock. Clearing your site data removes it; typing RESTORE followed by your unlock code brings it back.

Hosting

The web version is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data - such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested - to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We do not use this data for analytics.

Retention

Purchase records are kept in Stripe for five years after the end of the financial year in which the purchase was made, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires, and are then deleted. We do not keep a separate customer database.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your purchase data, object to its processing, or request a copy, by writing to the address below. Deletion may be limited by the bookkeeping obligation above. You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Copenhagen Runway does not use analytics services, advertising networks, tracking technologies, or third-party software development kits that collect personal data.

Children’s privacy

Copenhagen Runway does not collect personal data from anyone while playing, so it does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Buying the full game requires a payment method and is intended for adults.

App Store and platform services

If you download or use the app through Apple’s App Store or another platform, that platform may process information independently under its own privacy policy. Purchases made inside the iPhone app are handled entirely by Apple, and Dialog Consulting does not receive personal data from the iPhone app.

Changes to this policy

If the game’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect, and the effective date above will be revised.
